    FOOTHILL FARMS, SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CALIF. (CBS13) — Sacramento County Sheriff deputies arrested two men for their alleged involvement in the murder of Sungaya Fleming, a Sacramento woman who was shot on the 4800 block of  Myrtle Ave. Monday, Dec. 12.
    Homicide detectives arrested Tyquil Armstrong, 21, and Jerrell Jackson, 21, of Sacramento Friday, Jan. 6.

    A fourplex in Sacramento County was heavily damaged by fire and smoke Saturday.
    In the 7 a.m. hour, crews were called out to the building in the 9000 block of Folsom Boulevard in Rancho Cordova.
    It was originally reported that two of the units were on fire, but the flames spread to all four units, according to a MetroFire Department spokesperson.

    SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) – A 57-year-old convicted killer serving a life sentence in California became the first U.S. inmate to receive state-funded sex-reassignment surgery, the prisoner’s attorneys confirmed Friday to The Associated Press.
