    Back in August, the 49ers quarterback announced he would be pledging $1 million of his own money to charity. The generosity came as news began to spread about Kaepernick taking a knee during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice.

    VACAVILLE (CBS13) – The body of a man was discovered at a Vacaville golf course operated by a Travis Air Force Base squadron Thursday afternoon.
    The scene is at the Cypress Lakes Golf Course. Travis Air Force Base officials say around 1 p.m., a body was found at the golf course.

    GALT (CBS13) – A driver was rescued after getting trapped in flood waters in Galt early Friday morning.
    The scene is along Kerry Road, near Arno Road.
    California Highway Patrol says the driver was trying to turn around when they spotted flood waters. The driver then got stuck in the water.
