    ARDEN ARCADE (CBS13) – Detectives have arrested the suspect in a deadly Arden Arcade area shooting.
    The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department says 19-year-old Oakland resident Jonathan Jahquan Pierce was wanted for the murder of 23-year-old Patrick Lee Domingo.
    Thursday, detectives say Pierce was arrested in Oakland without incident.

    Pollock Pines Man Arrested After 6-Week-Old Baby Dies
    POLLOCK PINES (CBS13) – A man is behind bars in connection with the death of a six-week-old baby.
    Michael Swope, 26, was booked into El Dorado County Jail on Wednesday.
    The baby died on Dec. 19. Someone called 911 that day to report an unresponsive infant at a Pollock Pines home.
    Investigators won’t say if Swope is the baby’s father, but they did confirm he is in a relationship with the baby’s mother.

    The boy fell through some ice at Lake Baron and was unable to save himself. Ian Whitmarsh and his family just happened to be walking in the area.
