    CBS Local — Have astronomers located life in the final frontier? A series of unexplained radio signals has been discovered coming from a source in a galaxy three billion light years away.

  • Thieves Drill Into Private Paris Cellar, Steal $300,000 In Wine

    CBS Local — Police in Paris say thieves made off with hundreds of bottles of vintage wine after drilling into a collector’s private cellar. The amount stolen is still being calculated but the total value of the heist is reportedly near $300,000.
    According to French police, the robbers used the city’s network of ancient catacombs to get close to the valuable collection. The suspects allegedly then drilled about 60 feet into the victim’s cellar to steal the prized wines.

    CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4)– The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in an 18-year-old cold case murder following information obtained through a CBS4 Investigation.
    Investigators arrested Robert Lee Williams, 70, on Tuesday. Williams is being held on a murder charge, suspected of killing Arapahoe County prosecutor Rebecca Bartee in June 1999.

  • Youth At Colorado Detention Center Dies Of Suicide

    LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — A youth at Colorado’s Mount View Youth Services Center has died of suicide. It is the second suicide at the state-run center this summer.
    The Colorado Department of Human Services says staff members found the youth Sunday during a room check. The staff provided immediate aid before the youth was transported to the hospital.
    The Division of Youth Services was notified Tuesday the youth had died. The age and the sex of the youth were not released.

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The parents of a 6-week-old infant who died at their Colorado home in February have been charged with first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death.
