    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Aurora on Sunday shot and injured a suspect who reportedly waived a gun and led police on a chase.

    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s deputy hurt in a head-on crash with a Colorado State Patrol trooper has left the hospital.

    Both the deputy and the trooper were injured in Saturday’s crash, and the trooper remains in the hospital.
    The sheriff’s office said the deputy, Dale Davis, is a six-year veteran of the agency.
    The trooper’s name is Cpl. Ivan Alvarado and he is a 10-year veteran of the Colorado State Patrol.

    An Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputy who was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a state trooper Saturday left the hospital on Sunday morning.
    The crash Saturday evening near Manila Road and 48th Avenue near Watkins sent both drivers to area hospitals.

    Para-Glider Crashes, Dies Before Rescue Crews Reached Him

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– The body of a para-glider was recovered Saturday morning, more than 12 hours after the victim called 911 seeking help.
    West Metro Fire said emergency dispatchers received a 911 call from the victim just after 8:30 p.m. Friday after he crashed at William Frederick Hayden Park at Green Mountain.
