    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)– The City of Aurora will vote Monday night on a change that would allow voters decide on a proposed motor sports complex.
    Earlier this month, members of the city council gave initial approval to change language in the city charter.
    As it stands, the city is not allowed to provide incentives or direct and indirect subsidies to motorsports facilities; making it difficult to attract sponsors for the proposed facility.

    LOS ANGELES (AP) — Carrie Fisher’s autopsy report shows the actress had cocaine in her system when she fell ill on a plane last year, but investigators could not determine what impact the cocaine and other drugs found in her system had on her death.
    The report released Monday states Fisher may have taken cocaine three days before the Dec. 23 flight on which she became ill. She died four days later.

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– The man who died after he crashed while paragliding on Green Mountain over the weekend has been identified.
    The Jefferson County Coroner said the crash victim was Matthew William Lafler, 37, from Lakewood.
    Lafler called 911 for help just after 8:30 p.m. Friday after he crashed at William Frederick Hayden Park at Green Mountain.

    Rescued Baby Elk Did Not Survive
    ESTES PARK, Colo. (CBS4)– The baby elk that was rescued after he was found injured and separated from his mother, had to be euthanized.

    The calf elk suffered a broken leg, a hip dislocation and had indications of being sick before its injuries. The veterinarian determined the elk would not make a full recovery.
