    VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) – A massive wildfire in Utah is sending smoke into Colorado.
    The hazy skies are visible from Grand Junction to Vail, and even in Colorado Springs.

    The Brian Head Fire is burning in southwestern Utah west of Bryce Canyon National Park.
    The small town of Brian Head is one of nine communities evacuated.

    The fire has burned more than 28,000 acres since it started Monday. It was estimated at 5,000 acres Wednesday.

    GUNBARREL, Colo. (CBS4) – A man has been found guilty for shooting his neighbor in the butt.
    John Barbour, 60, of Gunbarrel has been found guilty of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault after shooting Jeffrey Browning on May 12, 2016 after the two argued about feeding squirrels.
    Barbour apparently left peanuts for squirrels, to which Browning objected.

    Man Dies After Being Stabbed Multiple Times
    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – An adult male is dead after he was stabbed multiple times.
    The Aurora Police Department said in a statement that the incident happened at 8:05 a.m. in the 13000 block of East 13th Avenue, which is near the intersection of Ursula Street.
    When police arrived on the scene, they located the victim, who was transported to and later died at the hospital from his injuries.

    The first study released found a link between legalized recreational marijuana and an increase in car crashes.

    CBS Local– Irrespective of whether children are being overtly mean to fellow kids that are overweight, they’re also subconsciously implicitly biased against them, according to a study posted in the journal Pediatrics.
    The study, which analysed the behaviors of 114 kids, was conducted using a method known as Affect Misattribution Procedure. Lead researcher of the study, Dr. Asheley Skinner, said this method has not been used prior to this study on this particular topic.
