    Emergency workers free truck from Cherry Creek Reservoir
    A truck with a boat trailer in tow was backing into the water at Cherry Creek Reservoir on Sunday when it slipped on algae and slid into the water. Emergency workers pulled the truck from the lake at about 3:30, about five hours later.
    No one was injured in the accident, according to South Metro Fire Rescue, which removed the vehicle from the lake.
    The truck went into the water at about 10:15 a.m., said Eric Hurst, South Metro spokesman.

    DENVER (CBS4) – An innocent driver is dead after getting hit by a driver who is believed to have been street racing.
    The fatal crash shut down parts of Federal Boulevard and the Interstate 76 on-ramp for most of the Saturday evening. The state just spent millions in an attempt to prevent street racing in that area.
    Federal between 52nd and 67th has seen crashes from street racing before. On Saturday two cars are believed to have run a red light and hit an innocent driver.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A driver was killed in a crash at Federal Boulevard and Interstate 76 on Saturday evening.
    The on-ramp to the interstate was closed for most of the evening.
    The state just spent millions in an attempt to prevent street racing in that area, and initially police said they believed the crash was a result of street racing. Later, they said they weren’t sure of the cause of the crash.

    A man piloting a powered paraglider fell to the ground from 30 feet at Watkins Motocross Track and was flown to a hospital Sunday.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A coroner’s report shows a woman who struck and killed a teenage boy in Denver was drunk.
    Investigators say Patricia Livingston, 81, was nearly twice the legal limit when she struck and killed 14-year-old Cole Sukle.

    Livingston hit two boys on July 13 while they were riding their bikes near Yale Avenue and Colorado Boulevard.
    Livingston was taken to the hospital but died 10 days after the crash.
