    More Human Remains Found Near Eldora Mountain Resort
    BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – More human remains have been found near Eldora Mountain Resort, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
    The remains are believed to be connected to previous remains that were discovered in a snow boot last month.

    ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – The City of Arvada and Jefferson County are pulling the plug on a proposed outdoor shooting range.
    City and county leaders were met with backlash from the community during numerous public meetings, including residents in the nearby Leyden Rock neighborhood.
    The county says it took hundreds of comments from the community into consideration when making a final decision.

    Children Safe After Standoff Situation In Aurora
    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Two children are safe after a standoff situation in Aurora.
    According to Sgt. Chris Amsler with Aurora Police, the incident occurred in the 1600 block of Havana Street.
    A 3-year-old and a 10-month-old were reportedly with the barricaded armed man inside a home.
    Police said the suspect was taken into custody peacefully just before 2 p.m.

    GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4) – The alarming number of terror attacks across the globe has one music promoter changing security policies.
    AEG Live says concertgoers will now have to go through metal detectors at the five facilities they operate in the Denver area.
    At Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on Friday night people attending Lyle Lovett’s concert had to walk through metal detectors. It was the first time the detectors have been used at the venue. There are 26 in all.

    BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) – Some people who live in Breckenridge say they are angry about a judge’s sentencing decision in a hit-and-run case.
    Hallie Schmitt was sentenced to six years of probation on Monday Summit County District Court. Earlier this year she pleaded guilty to a felony charge of leaving the scene after striking and injuring Laura Hamilton with her car the day after Christmas 2014. She was captured a few days later.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Drivers should expect full closures of Interstate 270 this weekend as crews pour concrete for the new Skyway Bridge decks.
