    They say cats have nine lives, but one lucky dog may have a few of its own.
    Two hikers rescued a dog named Stanley from a fast-moving creek above Camp Dick in Boulder County on Monday after it was swept away from its owner and pinned beneath a log.

    A body found at a remote Conejos County campground in late June has been identified as a Monte Vista man reported missing in late May.
    The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says the remains found June 23 are that of 52-year-old Jeffory Calvert.
    Authorities say Calvert’s found was found at the Alamosa Campground about 10 miles west of Colorado 15 on Forest Road 250. The area is along the banks of the Alamosa River.
