  FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)– Firefighters quickly gained control of a brush fire burning at the end of West Horsetooth Road on Tuesday afternoon.

  VAIL, Colo. (CBS4)– A Lakewood man suffered severe injuries after he collided with a deer while riding his motorcycle.The crash happened just after midnight Monday in east Vail.   WALDEN, Colo. (CBS4)– A forest fire continued to burn unchecked Tuesday in the Routt National Forest in Northern Colorado.
  The Beaver Creek Fire has been burning three miles south of the Colorado-Wyoming state line since about noon on Sunday. The fire has burned about 785 acres and moving northeast toward the Wyoming state line.

  That’s how long Lorenzo Montoya spent behind bars after being wrongly convicted of murder when he was 14.

  BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A trap has been set for a bear that got into a Boulder County home Friday night.
  Colorado Parks and Wildlife says the bear ripped away a screen and got into the kitchen at a home in the Pine Brook Hill neighborhood. The people inside the home ran into their garage and called for help.

  DENVER (CBS4) – The coroner has ruled the death of a 2-year-old boy an accident.
  The toddler fell out of a sixth-story window last week at an apartment on South Bellaire Street in Denver.
