    DENVER (CBS4) – The deadline to bid on the naming rights for Sports Authority Field at Mile High is Monday at 3 p.m.
    The stadium naming rights are being auctioned off, along with the rest of Sports Authority’s intellectual property, by order of a federal bankruptcy judge.

    Paddleboarder Taken To Hospital After Being Found Unresponsive
    LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) – A female who was paddleboarding at Chatfield Reservoir on Friday was found unresponsive and taken to the hospital.
    The incident happened sometime after 1 p.m. at the swim beach area of Chatfield State Park.
    The female’s condition is unknown. Her identity has not been released.

    DENVER (AP) – The Denver Broncos’ public relations staff has won the Pete Rozelle Award winners from the Professional Football Writers of America for consistently striving for excellence in its dealings and relationships with the media.
    The Super Bowl champion Broncos earned the award for the third time and the second time in three seasons. This year, Denver beat out the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins and New York Giants.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A Denver police officer fired this month for lying plans to appeal his termination, even though the Manager of Safety’s Office has stated he “is not fit to be a police officer.”
    According to a departmental order of disciplinary action dated June 15, Officer Brian Beary was fired for Commission of a Deceptive Act. Beary’s attorney told CBS4 he is filing an appeal.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Two people including an officer were injured in a car crash Friday morning on Interstate 70.

    DENVER (CBS4)– The Colorado Bureau of Investigation reports at least six dozen shots were fired during the Feb. 24 gun battle in Park County that left Cpl. Nathan Carrigan dead, two other Park County officers wounded, and suspect Martin Wirth dead near his home on Iris Drive.
