  CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) – A Salvation Army bell-ringer collecting donations at a King Soopers in Centennial had his red kettle stolen Thursday afternoon.
  It happened at approximately 2 p.m. at the King Soopers store on Holly Street and East County Line Road. The bell-ringer was devastated and believes it was not spontaneous but planned.

  DENVER (CBS4) – Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning made plantar fasciitis a familiar term. Now, a Colorado doctor is treating that painful foot problem and other tendon issues by targeting the damaged tissue and removing it through just one small incision.

• Police Offer Security Tips After Multiple Business Burglaries

  WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) – Businesses in Wheat Ridge have been alerted to take extra security precautions after several burglaries occurred in the past few days, possibly by the same suspect.
  In many of the cases, the thief gets in through the glass, by breaking a window or door.

  LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – A man dressed head to toe as Santa Claus is accused of stabbing another person on an RTD bus early Thursday morning.
  It happened at 1:10 a.m. as the bus was nearing the intersection of Florida Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard in Lakewood.

• Suspect Flees From Scene After Deadly Rollover Crash Involving Stolen Car

  DENVER (CBS4) – Police are searching for the suspect involved in a deadly rollover crash early Thursday morning that involved a stolen car.

• 80 Passengers Rescued From Stalled Aspen Chair Lift

  ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) – An estimated 80 passengers had to be rescued from the Tiehack Express chair lift at Aspen on Wednesday.
  The high-speed, four-person lift on Buttermilk Mountain stopped working at approximately 11 a.m. due to a mechanical issue.
  The Aspen Times reports that it is the third consecutive ski season in which a mechanical issue disabled a chairlift at Aspen Skiing Co. during the busy holiday season.

  DALLAS, S.D. (AP) — A South Dakota man indicted for having homemade explosives including a pipe bomb at his house has been arrested in Denver, South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley’s office said Wednesday.
