• Study: Men Who Smoke Weed May Have Sperm Count Reduced By ‘Quite A Lot’

  DENVER (CBS4) – Put down that joint. A new study finds that marijuana can lower men’s sperm count by nearly one-third.
  Researchers from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark told LiveScience that men who smoke weed more than once a week have sperm counts that were 29 percent lower than those that did not smoke, or used it less frequently.
  The amount of reduction in sperm count “was quite a lot,” study author Tina Kold Jensen told LiveScience.

  DENVER (AP) — NASA’s experimental Orion spacecraft has been shipped to Colorado for final decontamination and testing after its successful unmanned test flight in December.

  DENVER (AP) — A new survey shows that Colorado’s uninsured rate has dropped by more than half since before the new federal health care law.
  According to the Colorado Health Access Survey, the state’s uninsured rate fell from 14.3 percent in 2009 to 6.7 percent in 2015.

  DENVER (CBS4) – The injuries sustained by a Denver police officer who was hit by a suspected drunk driver are worse than originally thought.
  The officer, whose name hasn’t been released, had pulled over another suspected drunk driver Friday morning on Interstate 25 near 38th Avenue. That’s when another vehicle slammed into his cruiser, causing a chain reaction crash.

  BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – More human cases of the West Nile virus along the Front Range have been announced.
  Boulder County reported three new cases on Monday. They happened in Superior, Longmont and Gunbarrel. The patients are between the ages of 41 and 66 and are all recovering at home.
  At least 20 people have gotten West Nile in Colorado this season and that number is expected to go up.
