  DENVER (CBS4) – A Denver woman has been formally charged in connection with the death of her 11-month-old daughter.
  According to Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney’s office, Karla Ceballos-Andrade, 29, has been charged with one count of child abuse resulting in death.

• State Taking Public Comments On Pot Edibles Labeling Via Email

  DENVER (CBS4) – People have until Tuesday to weigh in on proposed packaging for marijuana edibles.
  The state’s Marijuana Enforcement Division wants edibles to be clearly marked with a stamp. The idea they’ve come up with is to use a triangle with the letters THC. That’s different from the original proposal which was to use a red stop sign.

  IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – Cellphone service has been interrupted in Clear Creek County on Monday.
  According to CenturyLink spokesperson Sara Spaulding, somebody cut through a line near Central City Parkway approximately 3 miles east of Idaho Springs. Service is down from that location west to Georgetown.

  Jason Day once again put on a power golf clinic to win The Barclays and claim top spot in the FedExCup standings. The Aussie drove an average of nearly 328 yards off the tee and combined his massive length with consistently tight-to-the-pin shots as he pulverized the field by six strokes.

  LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) – Federal safety inspectors were on their way to a construction site in Longmont on Monday at midday after a worker fell to his death.
  The accident happened after the 40-year-old man stepped through plywood covering a hole in the roof at the Village at the Peaks worksite. That’s a new mall being built along 95th Street in the southwest section of the city.

  DENVER (CBS4) – Federal prosecutors and defense attorneys for Harold Henthorn will begin picking jurors Wednesday for the Highlands Ranch man’s murder trial, which is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Sept. 8.
  Henthorn is charged with murdering his second wife, Toni, by pushing her off a cliff in Rocky Mountain National Park during an anniversary hike Sept. 29, 2012. He has pleaded not guilty in the case.

• Inattentive Driving Suspected In Fatal I-25 Crash

  PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — Inattentive driving is suspected of contributing to a crash that killed one man and injured another on Interstate 25 near Pueblo.
  The Colorado State Patrol says a Toyota Camry headed south on I-25 hit a U-Haul truck on the highway’s shoulder Sunday afternoon. The driver of the Camry, 18-year-old Isaiah Tafoya of Walsenburg, died after being taken to the hospital. The U-Haul driver, 57-year-old Andrew Stevens of Tacoma, Washington, suffered minor injuries.
