    EAST HARTFORD — An out-of-control Jeep went across a Wendy’s parking lot and crashed into a gas station, hitting three gas pumps Thursday morning. Two of those gas pumps caught fire.
    A black Jeep struck the gas pumps at a Phillips 66  gas station located at 302 Main Street igniting a fire, according to the East Hartford Police Department. The accident happened just before noon.

    Babysitter found guilty in death of 19-month-old boy in New Haven
    NEW HAVEN — A Connecticut baby sitter charged in the death of a 19-month-old boy has been found guilty of first-degree manslaughter.
    The New Haven Register reports that 29-year-old Kinjal Patel entered a plea under the Alford Doctrine. That means she does not agree with the state’s case, but concedes there is enough evidence to secure her conviction. She will serve 14 years in prison.
