    DEEP identifies locations for Sunday bow hunting for deer
    HARTFORD — The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has determined bow hunting on Sundays on private land will be allowed in most deer management zones except those in north central Connecticut.
    This year, the General Assembly passed legislation authorizing DEEP to establish a season for Sunday bow hunting on private properties during the fall archery season. Starting Oct. 1, Sunday bow hunting will be allowed in areas with an overpopulation of deer.

     DERBY, Conn. (AP) _ Fire officials say a woman has died in a fire at a multi-family home in Derby.The fire started at around 7 a.m. Sunday.
    WTIC-TV reports firefighters discovered the flames when they came to the location on Derby street for a car accident.The three-story building was evacuated and the fire was put out by 9 a.m.

    DERBY — A woman is dead after a fire at a 3-floor, multi-family home in Derby, fire officials confirmed.
    Multiple fire companies responded to the scene at 204 Derby Avenue Sunday morning.
    The fire started shortly before 7 a.m.
    Firefighters said they originally came to that location for a car accident in front of the home, but then discovered the fire.
    Firefighters saw heavy fire from the back of the home.
