  WILLIMANTIC–Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a wanted man after an armed robbery and standoff situation on Sunday.
  Joshua Omar Sauri, of Willimantic, told police he would turn himself in to police after a warrant was signed for his arrest on Tuesday, but he has not yet turned up.

  BLOOMFIELD — Workers at Wintonbury Church in Bloomfield had quite a scare Tuesday afternoon when someone was opening mail. A church employee was opening mail just before 12:30 p.m. when white powder came out of one of the envelopes.

  The goats arrived today at Lockett’s Meadow Farm in Bethany.

  BETHANY – Thirteen severely neglected goats, which were among nearly 100 rescued from a farm in Cornwall, now have a safe sanctuary to live out their years.

  DANBURY —  A wall behind a shoe warehouse collapsed in Danbury Tuesday after it was hit by a tractor-trailer hit.
  The truck was making a delivery to a nearby Staples store around 11:30 a.m., when it was backing up according to the Danbury Fire Department and hit the building.

  They responded around 1:30 on a report windows had been smashed and property taken from the Old Trinity Church.
