    Rain and humidity around for one more day before pleasant weather returns
    HARTFORD–Tomorrow we’re looking at a few showers and thunderstorms. That’s all due to a cold front approaching from the west.
    The good news about that cold front is that it’ll wash away our humidity for the middle to the end of the week.
    Much more comfortable air will move in and give us some nearly fall-like days for Wednesday into the weekend. Highs will be around 80 with low humidity and abundant sunshine.

    (Berlin, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – State police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal accident last December on Route 9 in Berlin.
    Twenty-three-year old Anthony Longo is facing manslaughter charges.
    It was in the early morning hours last December 13 that troopers say Longo lost control of his vehicle near the exit 21 off-ramp, hitting a light pole, a roadside post, and a rocky ledge before becoming airborne.

    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – State Comptroller Kevin Lembo says restrictions he’s imposed on the rapidly rising use of compound drug prescriptions in the state health plan have cut state spending by about $2 million a month.
