  A car driven by a 26-year-old woman, who police say was intoxicated at more than twice the legal limit to drive, crashed early Saturday morning near the Twin Lakes area of Juneau.

• Juneau airport considering fees for Lyft, Uber rides

  JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) – Ride-hailing services Uber and Lyft will soon be available for Juneau International Airport travelers.
  KTOO-FM reports the governor is expected to sign a bill that would allow rideshare companies to operate in Alaska, and Juneau airport officials are getting ready. The airport’s board approved a draft fee schedule this week.

  Anchorage police are investigating a shooting they say happened in midtown early Saturday morning.
  APD issued a Nixle alert at 3:16 a.m. reporting they were investigating a shooting in the area of the 5300 block of Mockingbird Drive.

  Warm weather on Thursday may have had people out enjoying the sun, but, at Palmer High School it caused a downpour.
  Principal Paul Reid says around 3:45 p.m., the heat triggered one of the sprinkler heads in the school’s third-floor behavioral support classroom, causing some serious flooding.

• Kongiganak man faces multiple child sex charges

  A Kongiganak man was arrested on six counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the second-degree.
  Alaska State Troopers received a report Thursday of a sexual abuse incident in the village of Kongiganak. The Bethel Violent Offenders Unit was sent to investigate.
  Friday, 53-year-old Oscar David was arrested and taken to jail in Bethel. His bail was set at $50,000.

  HYDABURG, Alaska (AP) – A 53-year-old Hydaburg woman has died of injuries suffered in a traffic crash on Prince of Wales Island.
