  The thermometer at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport reached 70 degrees on Wednesday for the first time this year. It’s the warmest temperature reached in Anchorage since early September 2016.

• Truck becomes wedged at airport, causes damage

  Wednesday morning, a truck damaged sprinklers and became stuck under the departure ramp at Ted Stevens International Airport.
  Larry Swanson, facilities manager at the airport, says the man driving the truck “probably wasn’t paying attention” to the signage indicating restrictions on permitted vehicle heights.

• Former employee allegedly robs Taku Harley-Davidson at knifepoint

  A former Taku Harley-Davidson employee armed with a knife allegedly robbed the store Tuesday, according to a Juneau Police Department news release.
  An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen and has not been recovered.
