  There are so many pictures on Facebook and social media showing them smiling wearing purple. Students from all across APS.

• Suspect charged in 6-year-old fatal hit-and-run

  ANTHONY, N.M. (KRQE) – The man who allegedly hit and killed a 6-year-old boy in southern New Mexico is back on the streets.
  State Police said they found the driver of a white Ford pickup on Saturday. The driver was 53-year-old Jose Luis Bricino.
  They said information from the community led to his arrest.
  Bricino is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, a fourth degree felony. He was booked into jail Saturday night, but bonded out just three hours later.

  ANTHONY, N.M. (KRQE) – Police are searching for a suspect after a 6-year-old boy was hit and killed Thursday.
  According to State Police, the boy was riding his bike around 8:00 p.m. when he was struck by a white Ford pickup near the intersection of Fourth and Putter Circle in Anthony. Police say the truck left the scene after hitting the boy.

  The Las Cruces Sun-News reports that U.S. Army Brig. Gen Eric L. Sanchez took over the New Mexico range after a Change of Command Ceremony on Thursday.
  Sanchez is a 1987 graduate of the New Mexico State University. He is returning to his home state after serving as the commanding general of the 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command at Fort Shafter in Honolulu.
