  AUBURN (CBS13/AP) — Authorities say a woman who fell 60 feet while taking a selfie on a Placer County bridge will not be charged for trespassing.
  The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says the woman was airlifted to a hospital and is expected to survive.
  The woman, who hasn’t been identified, and a group of friends were walking on a catwalk underneath the 730-foot-tall Foresthill Bridge near Auburn when she fell Tuesday while taking a photo. She landed on a trail below.

  RENO, Nev. (AP) — A Nevada man who worked at a children’s ski school at a Lake Tahoe resort was scheduled to appear in federal court Thursday on child pornography charges.
  Stephan DeGraffenreid, 26, of Gardnerville was arrested March 30 on a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor.   FORESTHILL (CBS13/AP) — Authorities are have arrested a suspect they say shot at law enforcement helicopters in the Foresthill area.
  Placer County sheriff’s officials say deputies and SWAT officers responded Wednesday evening after someone opened fire at two helicopters in the rural area near Michigan Bluff and Chicken Hawk roads.

  CARLISLE, Pa. (AP) – A coroner says the drowning death of a California woman in a central Pennsylvania creek is suspicious.
  Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall says 22-year-old Fiona Koell’s body was bruised and toxicology tests to determine if she was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol are pending.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A Sacramento woman is miraculously alive after falling 60 feet from the Foresthill Bridge, as she was posing for pictures.with friends.
  The woman was in a group of six friends in an off-limits section under the bridge, when the young lady lost her footing.
  “They were taking a picture on the bridge, and then the big bolts that are holding the beams together, she stepped on them kind of weirdly and lost balance and fell backwards,” friend Paul Goncharuk said.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Three innocent victims are recovering after being caught in the cross fire of a Del Paso Heights shooting Sunday afternoon. One of the victims was still in the hospital on Wednesday after needing to have a kidney removed.

  NEW YORK (AP) — Shoe chain Payless ShoeSource has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, becoming the latest retailer to succumb to increasing competition from online rivals like Amazon.
  The Topeka, Kansas-based retailer said Tuesday that it will be immediately closing nearly 400 stores as part of the reorganization. It has over 4,400 stores in more than 30 countries and was founded in 1956.
