    OROVILLE (CBS13/AP) — Oroville Dam’s heavily damaged main spillway is expected to resume releasing water next week as levels continue to rise in the reservoir.
    The California Department of Water Resources says the battered concrete spillway is likely to begin water releases around March 17 when the level in Lake Oroville is expected to have risen to 865 feet.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities have made an arrest in the case of a house fire that left a toddler injured.
    The fire happened on Tuesday at a home along the 2700 block of 29th Avenue. Sacramento Fire says their crews responded to the scene a little before 5 p.m. and found two residents, 26-year-old Oscar Mareno and a 2-year-old girl, injured.
    Both were transported to the UC Davis Medical Center. Their injuries were minor.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Detectives are asking for help in finding the driver who hit and killed a young man in south Sacramento.
    The incident happened back on Tuesday. Sacramento police say officers responded to Lemon Hill Avenue and Wilkinson Street a little after 7 p.m. and found a man lying in the roadway.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Drivers along Interstate 5 will soon see a new addition to a Sacramento landmark.
    The iconic Sacramento water tower will now read: “America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital’ and showcase the official Farm-to-Fork logo.

    The city was declared America’s farm-to-fork capital back in 2012.
