    Lost Lamb Rescued By Caltrans Worker During Storm Reunited With Owner
    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Animal control has reunited a little lamb with its owner after it somehow got lost during this week’s storm.
    Sacramento County Animal Care said it took in the lamb on Wednesday after it was rescued by Caltrans worker Tai. According to animal control, Tai spotted the lamb trapped in waist-deep water.
    Tai was able to wade through the water, untangle the branches and free the lamb.

    SOUTH SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — It was a race against the rising water and failing levees for homeowners to try and save decades of belongings.
    “It could get anywhere from 5 to 7 feet high in this house,” said Jack Mello who lives on a pear far off Twin Cities Road.
    High water on Lost Slough inched up to the top of the levee threatening more than a dozen homes and acres of farmlands. Officials urged homeowners to evacuate.
