    SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) – People have quickly bought up all the Christmas tree permits for the Tahoe National Forest.
    The U.S. Forest Service says all the permits for the Sierraville Ranger District were sold out just four days.     SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – The husband of a Northern California mother who went missing for three weeks after a reported kidnapping says his wife was covered in black and yellow bruises when she was found last week.
    Keith Papini says his wife weighed only 87 pounds and was tossed from a car with a bag over her head.
    Sherri Papini was found on the side of a freeway on Thanksgiving after she disappeared while jogging Nov. 2 near her home in Redding, California, about 140 miles north.

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – A woman is under arrest after she allegedly threw hot grease at officers, including a K9, police say.
    The incident happened along the 8000 block of Montgomery Avenue. Stockton police say officers responded to the scene just after 11 p.m. Monday after someone reported that a woman was trying to set the kitchen on fire.
    At the scene, officers contacted the suspect – 46-year-old Elsarie Deloney – and saw that a pot was smoking on the stove.

    Dog Tests Positive For Rabies In Calaveras County
    CALAVERAS COUNTY (CBS13) – Health officials say a dog has tested positive for rabies in Calaveras County.
    Calaveras County Animal Services says the positive test, done this month, comes after multiple wildlife animals also tested positive for rabies this year. The dog did not have a current vaccination for rabies, officials say.
    Several people are receiving the preventative rabies measure due to coming in contact with the dog. None of the people have tested positive for rabies.

    EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13/AP) – The couple reported missing over the weekend while offroading in El Dorado County has been found safe.
    Rory and Susan Holloter of Yuba City were located Monday, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s department.
    They were reported missing after they became stuck in the snow while offroading Sunday and lost cell service. They were last seen in the Wentworth Springs area.
