    ELK GROVE (CBS13) – An Elk Grove man is behind bars accused of kidnapping a teenage girl.
    Elk Grove police were called to 4600 block of Story Way Monday evening to do a welfare check on the girl. They say 28-year-old Rodney Green told officers he hadn’t seen the girl in months.
    Police checked the home and found her in a bedroom closet.

    ELK (CBS13) – A fire crew rescued a hawk that somehow got its talons stuck in a leaf gutter guard on Tuesday.
    Sacramento Fire says they and a Cosumnes Fire crew responded to an Elk Grove house after a resident came home and found the hawk hanging by its talons from a gutter. The bird was tired and limp, firefighters say.
