    Frankfort High students Carter Edmonds and Sawyer Lona are interested in careers in aviation, and they recently received DFC (DreamFlight Charities) Flight Training Scholarships to help achieve that goal.

    Kyle Alexander and Todd McDaniel were the winners in the 62nd annual Governor’s Open pro-am golf tournament, played Sept. 12-13 at Juniper Hill.
    Alexander won the Professional Flight with a two-day, 13-under par 127 (64-63), and McDaniel was the low amateur, shooting a nine-under par 131 (67-64) to win the Championship Flight. Levi Keith was runner-up with a 134 (70-64).

    Frankfort Police arrested a local man Tuesday evening after he allegedly fired a gun at a motorist on Holmes Street.
