    Carolyn Yvonne Miller Harris, 75, of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away on October 4, 2026, after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer.
    Born in Gary, Indiana, on January 10, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James Miller and Minnie A. Samuels Kyle Miller. Carolyn graduated from Kentucky State University in 1978 and spent her professional life serving others, working 27 years at Frankfort Regional Medical Center and 20-plus years at the Kentucky Retirement Systems.

    The City of Frankfort, City of Versailles, and Anderson County have received a $190,476 federal grant through the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant program to purchase a new mobile cascade trailer.
