    Women’s equality celebrated Saturday at Liberty Hall
    Sylvia Coffey proudly played the drum as she lead the march in celebration of women’s equality from the Old Capitol to Liberty Hall Saturday morning.
    “We are the other 50%,” Coffey said. “But to tell the truth, we are more than 50%.”
    This year celebrated 12 years of hosting a Women’s Equality Day Celebration for the Kentucky Women’s History Alliance, of which Coffey co-founded.

    A graveside service for James Scott Morrow, 86, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Morrow died Friday, Aug. 21, following a short illness.
