    Aurora police on Sunday arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a shooting that left one person dead outside the Tierra Maya Sports Bar and Grill at 455 Havana St. in Aurora.
    Miguel Angel Licona-Ortega is being held in the Aurora Detention Center, facing a charge of first-degree murder. Police haven’t identified the victim.

    AURORA, Colo (CBS4) – Aurora Police arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting at an Aurora sports bar. Miguel Angel Licona-Ortega was booked into the Aurora Detention Center for first-degree murder.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The office of Nashville Mayor Megan Barry said Sunday that her only child has died of an apparent drug overdose.
    The office released a statement from Barry and her husband, Bruce, saying 22-year-old Max Barry died Saturday night in Denver.

  • Suspect In Custody In Englewood Death Investigation

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo (CBS4) – Denver Police have 58-year-old Joe Pinheiro in custody in connection with a death investigation in Englewood.
    Pinheiro is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday afternoon. He could face charges of first degree murder.
    Denver officers responded to a  call around 3:30 or 4:30 p.m. A body was found in a home on the 3200 block of West Saratoga.
    No information about the victim has been released.

  • Mousetrap Bridge Repairs Begin Sunday Night

    DENVER (CBS4) – Colorado’s Department of Transportation will be closing the northbound ramp of Interstate 25 to westbound I-70 starting Sunday, July 30th. The closure will begin at 8:00 p.m. and end at 5:30 a.m. The work is part of the I-70 and I-25 Interchange Bridge Repairs project.   • Group Of German Students Detained At DIA By Customs Officials

    DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) – A group of eight students from Germany was detained by immigration officials after arriving at Denver International Airport Friday night, according to several reports.
    The group has not left the airport. CBS4 has learned those officials plan to return the students on the next plane departing for Germany. That plane, we are told, leaves DIA at 5:15 p.m.

    WAPAKONETA, Ohio (AP) — Ohio police say a rare gold replica of the lunar space module has been stolen from the Armstrong Air and Space Museum.
