    Eric Maison told People Magazine their decision came after watching a documentary about a transgender girl five years ago.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A new effort is being made to treat drug overdoses at Denver’s Central Library.
    Chris Henning, a spokesman for the Denver Public Library, said there have been six cases of people overdosing at the downtown branch since mid-February.

    A 40-year-old man sleeping inside his vehicle in Cañon City was set on fire and critically hurt early Sunday, authorities say.
    The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says Jason Crowder was severely burned at about 3 a.m. on the 1600 block of Park Avenue. A caller told investigators that Crowder’s vehicle, in which he had been living, was “fully engulfed in flames.”

    Residents who were evacuated in the path of Boulder’s Sunshine Fire can now return home, fire officials said at 9:30 a.m.
