    DENVER (CBS4)– Last year was the busiest year ever at Denver International Airport.
    More than 58 million passengers made their way through DIA in 2016.
    That’s about four million more than the previous record for travelers.
    DIA said its 10 busiest days also occurred last year.

    Man Pleads Guilty In Human Trafficking, Sexual Servitude Case
    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)– A man pleaded guilty to three counts of human trafficking of a minor for the purpose of sexual servitude in a plea deal on Monday.
    Sean Travis Crumpler was sentenced to 50 years in prison. He received a sentence of 25 years in prison for each count but will serve 50 years because one of the counts will be served concurrently to another.

    FLEMING, Colo. (CBS4)– The entire town of Fleming was on pre-evacuation orders on Monday afternoon after a brush fire, fueled by strong winds, was burning unchecked.
    A total of 900 notifications went out to residents east of Logan County Road 49 which includes the town of Fleming, Fleming School and Caliche School.

    LOS ANGELES (AP) — Bill Paxton’s death certificate states the actor died last month from a stroke days after surgery to replace a heart valve and repair damage to his aorta.
    The aorta is the main artery that carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body.
    The prolific actor died late on Feb. 25. That was 11 days after the surgery.
    The document was first reported Monday by celebrity website TMZ.

    DENVER (AP) — Colorado may ban collective marijuana growing under a bill that calls some patient-owned marijuana grows a “public nuisance.”
    A bill up for its first hearing in a House committee Monday would ban co-op pot growing by setting a statewide limit of 12 marijuana plants per residential property.
