    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — Navy officials in Virginia are identifying a sailor fatally shot by a Naval Air Station Oceana security officer.
    U.S. Navy Fleet Forces Command says in a press release that Seaman Robert Colton Wright of Colorado crashed through a station gate Friday night and went to his squadron’s hangar.     GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – The man who stole two vehicles in a hit-and-run that led to the death of a woman was sentenced on Monday.
    Ignacio Paul Daigle was convicted of aggravated motor vehicle thefts, trailer theft and vehicular eluding. He was sentenced to nine years for the aggravated motor vehicle thefts, trailer theft and vehicular eluding.

    But Democrats are likely to block the attempt to make it a felony, not misdemeanor, to tamper with or vandalize drilling equipment.
