    FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – Emmanuel Omogbo hit a 3-pointer with four seconds to play to give Colorado State a 56-55 win over San Diego State on Saturday night.
    Omogbo – who finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds – sank the winning shot after San Diego State went up 55-53 with 23 seconds left.
    The win places the Rams (20-9, 12-4) in a tie with Nevada for first place in the Mountain West Conference standings.

    LOS ANGELES (AP) — Joseph Wapner, the retired Los Angeles judge who presided over “The People’s Court” with steady force during the heyday of the reality courtroom show, died Sunday at age 97.

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – It was a busy morning for Colorado Springs firefighters on Saturday.
    The fire broke out around 6 a.m. sending up thick smoke at a small art gallery on Colorado Avenue.

    It’s not clear if the building is a complete loss or if any artwork was damaged.
    Another fire occurred just a couple of minutes earlier east of the gallery at a residence. The homeowner was able to make it out safely.
    Both fires are under investigation.

    The Pueblo Chieftan reported that the body was found Saturday afternoon near Santa Fe Avenue.
    The body, believed to be that of a man, was not immediately removed from the water.

    GARFIIELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A man who was found dead in an avalanche died of suffocation, according to authorities.
    The Steamboat Pilot reports Jesse Christensen, 55, of Steamboat Springs, died from suffocation in an avalanche. He was reportedly not wearing proper safety gear.

    Investigators believe Christensen and a friend triggered the slide in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area in Garfield County, and were then buried.

    Man Accused Of Biting Firefighter’s Hand, Threatening Deputies
    LA PLATA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – An Arizona man is accused of hitting and biting a firefighter who tried to help him after a car crash south of Hesperus.
    The Durango Herald reported that Joe Benally, 20, of Lukachukai, Arizona, was arrested in La Plata County. He was one of three people in a car that rolled over on Highway 140 Thursday afternoon.
