    CARBONDALE, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Carbondale are searching for two men after an armed robbery.
    Investigators say Nicholas Alexander Ameral, 19; and his cousin, Benjamin Weeks, 19; held up a convenience store located at 980 Cowen Drive and got away with cash.

    Man Shot While Riding ATV
    WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A man is recovering after being shot while riding an ATV in Weld County.
    The bullet hit him in the shoulder as he was riding near the 11000 block of Weld County Road 18 near Fort Lupton.
    The victim was taken to North Colorado Medical Center with an injury not considering to be life-threatening.
    It’s not known where it came from but investigators say there’s no danger to the public.

    ALLEN, Texas (CBS4) – A high school teen who is in the process of transitioning from becoming a girl to a boy has won a wrestling title in Texas after the female opponent forfeited the match.
    Mack Beggs, a transgender 17-year-old, is taking testosterone while transitioning from female to male.

    WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – A third-grader in Jefferson County got quite a surprise at his school assembly.
    Last Tuesday Ryan Elementary student Bryce Beach in Westminster thought he was getting an award for the school’s Jump Rope For Heart program. Little did he know, his father, Colorado National Guard Army Master Sgt. Rex Beach, had just returned from a six-month deployment in the Middle East. His school put together a video of the touching reunion.

    CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) – One person was taken to the hospital after a single-engine Piper Cherokee aircraft crashed south of Centennial Airport Saturday afternoon.
    The National Transportation and Safety Board was called to the scene in order to investigate what caused the crash.
    The aircraft had two people inside at the time of impact. The aircraft lost one wing as it clipped trees in the Western Union parking lot south of E-470.
