    7 Injured After Driver Runs Red Light In Colorado Springs
    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – Police say seven people were injured, two of them seriously, in crashes triggered by a pickup driver who ran a red light in Colorado Springs.
    They say the pickup driver hit one car which in turn was hit by a third vehicle around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The pickup driver ran away before police arrived but they say they know who the driver is.
    The other five people who were injured were treated and released from the hospital.

    According to police, just after 2 a.m. Sunday a 2012 black BMW 600 series sedan struck a pedestrian at 16th and Blake streets and the pedestrian died.

    HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) – Investigators believe that “reckless speeds” contributed to an overnight crash that killed the driver of a Maserati.
    Douglas County sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene near C-470 and Lucent Boulevard just before 10 a.m. Saturday when someone walking by spotted the vehicle in a grassy ditch area off of Plaza Drive.
