    Man Accused Of Penning Note About Bomb On Plane Was ‘Good Samaritan Hero’
    DENVER (CBS4) – The FBI arrested Cameron E. Korth on Monday for allegedly writing a note about a bomb on board a United Airlines plane.
    United flight 231 was en route from San Diego to Denver International Airport when Korth, 20, allegedly found the note in the bathroom.
    The note stated there was a bomb on the plane and the flight crew should not attempt to land the aircraft.

    Child Abuse Hotline Expanded To Help More Kids
    DENVER (CBS4)– The Colorado Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline is being expanded to help more children who may be in danger.
    The hotline is in its third year of operation. In the past year, calls received from community members versus mandatory reporters made up 40 percent of the total number of calls. That’s up 24 percent from 2015.

    BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Boulder City Council members voted to lower the fine for first-time violators who don’t use bear-resistant trash bins.
    Bears are a common sight in the neighborhoods in west Boulder. That was part of the decision behind the city requirement that residents use bear-proof trash bins starting in 2014.
