    LARIMER COUNTY (CBS4) – Dozens of bicyclists rode from Fort Collins to Carter Lake where a man died in a hit-and-run crash.
    Jason Holden, 43, was riding his bike eastbound on Larimer County Road 8E last Tuesday when a passing motorist struck him and didn’t stop.
    Several groups across Northern Colorado, including Bike Fort Collins, came together to organize a vigil ride to dedicate a “ghost bike” placed at the scene of the collision.

    ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) – Park rangers have recovered the body of a 61-year-old man from Greeley who fell while climbing Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park.
    The accident happened Saturday after the man apparently slipped on ice and fell about 100 feet.
    Park officials say visitors called rescuers by cellphone about 10 a.m. to report the accident.
    Park rangers were flown by helicopter and recovered the body later in the afternoon.

    ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Five people died in a fiery rollover crash when a speeding car went off the road in Arapahoe County early Sunday morning.
    The small sedan was heading westbound on County Line Road near Monarch Circle when it crashed through a barbed wire fence and landed dozens of feet away among a grove of trees in a shallow embankment.

    PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) – An art show and exhibit in Parker is raising money for horse rescue efforts by two nonprofit organizations.
    The art show at the Parker Arts Center located at 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue, Parker, opened Sept. 15 and runs through Oct. 30. It raises funds for Drifters Hearts of Hope in Parker and the Horse Protection League in Arvada.
