  CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4)– The son of Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen was found guilty of harassment on Thursday morning.
  John Bowlen was found guilty by a jury in Arapahoe County and sentenced to 24 months of probation with drug/alcohol evaluation and mental health evaluation and treatment.

  BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — A lawsuit can go forward against the maker of the rifle used in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings, a judge ruled Thursday.

  DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies put outfielder Charlie Blackmon on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with turf toe on his left foot.

• Some Carpool Drivers Could Get Express Transponder Refund

  DENVER (CBS4)– Some Colorado drivers could get a little refund if some state lawmakers get their way. They claim carpoolers shouldn’t have to pay $15 for transponders to ride for free.
  Right now, drivers on U.S. 36 are required to buy a transponder that has a flip to switch depending on whether drivers are using the HOV lane for carpooling.

  FAIRPLAY, Colo. (CBS4)– A Park County sheriff’s deputy shot and killed in February during a high-risk eviction was wearing a Kevlar vest, but was hit by a bullet that went through his left arm pit according to officials familiar with what occurred February 24.

  ARAPAHOE BASIN, Colo. (CBS4) – For 10 hours without stopping teams of skiers and boarders hit the slopes at Arapahoe Basin for a good cause on Wednesday.
