    DENVER (AP) — A weekend storm that dropped up to 4 feet of snow in the central Colorado mountains improved the snowpack in most of Colorado’s major river basins.

    MONTE VISTA, Colo. (CBS4) – A man in Monte Vista was killed Saturday morning when a large tree branch fell on him.

    BRUSH, Colo. (CBS4) – An ambulance crash in northeast Colorado Sunday morning killed one person and injured two others.
    A Sedgwick County Ambulance Service unit, carrying an EMT, First Responder, and patient, rolled over on Interstate 76 east of Brush.
    The patient was killed in the crash and the EMT in back seriously injured. The First Responder, also the driver was treated and released.

    It happened at approximately 1:30 a.m. at West Florida Avenue and South Irving Street. The driver is suspected of driving under the influence after officers say he slammed into a Denver police cruiser and then fled from the scene.
    Officers caught up with him shortly after, and he was arrested.
