    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Dozens of drivers were stranded across the Denver metro area on Wednesday as snow fell in some places more than an inch an hour. Several major roadways and interstates were closed across Colorado because of the blizzard warning.

    According to Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney’s office, Colby James Messer, 30, has been charged with six counts of sexual assault in connection with a “brutal sexual assault of a 27-year-old woman.”
