    DENVER (CBS4) – Sunday marks the 13th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq where thousands of U.S. service members were killed. Several veterans groups gathered to honor those from Colorado who served.
    Kevin Sonka’s son David was killed fighting overseas in 2013. He was from Colorado and loved the outdoors — and his military work dog Flex.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Police in Denver would like the public’s help identifying a bank robbery suspect.
    According to police, a man robbed the Bank of Denver located at 530 South Holly Street.
    The suspect is described as an unknown race male, approximately 6-foot-1, about 250 pounds and was wearing dark framed glasses with thick lenses.

    DENVER (AP) – Four people including a child were taken to a hospital Saturday after a concourse train at Denver International Airport malfunctioned, jolting passengers when the train abruptly accelerated and then decelerated as it approached a platform in the main terminal.

    The study also found that bears that eat human food don’t survive as long as those left to the wild.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A Denver firefighter suffered burns to his ears on Saturday at the scene of a house fire.
    His gear was also burned in the intense heat.

    TELLURIDE, Colo. (CBS4) – A 69-year-old skier died at Telluride Ski Resort on Saturday after he lost control on a black diamond trail and slid into a patch of trees.

    22 Taken To Hospital In Chemical Incident At Rec Center
    LAFAYETTE, Colo. (CBS4) – A total of 22 people were taken to the hospital late Saturday afternoon after an apparent chemical incident at the rec center in Lafayette.
    A city spokeswoman said theBob L. Burger Recreation Center was evacuated shortly after 4:10 a.m. due to “a potential chemical incident in the pool area.”
    The people taken to the hospital were suffering from coughing, nausea and vomiting, according to public information officer Debbie Wilmot.

    2nd Skier Death This Year Takes Place At Telluride
    TELLURIDE, Colo. (CBS4) – A skier was killed at Telluride Ski Resort on Saturday.
    The San Miguel Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death in a tweet. They said the victim was a man from Greenwood, South Carolina but didn’t release his name. They said he was skiing with family members at the time.
    It appears the man was killed when he struck trees.

    GYPSUM, Colo. (CBS4) – Multiple crews in western Eagle County worked quickly to contain a small wildfire that broke out on Saturday next to a golf course.
