    Pharmacy Robber Wanted In Arapahoe County
    ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– Deputies with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy and tried to rob another.
    The robbery happened just before 4:30 p.m. March 5 at Safeway located at 20153 E. Smoky Hill Road. A similar attempt occurred the same day at 12:15 p.m. at Rite Aid located at 6700 S. University Blvd.

    DENVER (AP) – Colorado’s local-food movement won a significant victory in the state Senate Tuesday, when lawmakers unanimously agreed to make it easier for small-time chicken farmers to sell directly to consumers.

    DENVER (AP) – Furniture Row Racing has withdrawn its appeal of a penalty for illegal roof flaps. Crew chief Cole Pearn will serve his one-race suspension this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.
    Pearn was suspended last week by NASCAR because an unapproved part was found on Martin Truex Jr.‘s during prerace inspection at Atlanta. The team appealed, but decided Tuesday to drop the case after team president Joe Garone received clarification of the penalty from NASCAR.

    ARVADA, Colo. (AP) – A memorial service has been scheduled for a sheriff’s deputy who was shot and killed while trying to serve an eviction notice.
    The service for Park County Sheriff’s Cpl. Nate Carrigan will be held March 14 in the Denver suburb of Arvada.

    Both people were rushed to the hospital.     DENVER (CBS4) – Despite the fact that the 2015-16 snow season started off with a bang across Colorado, things aren’t looking as good as they did just a few weeks ago.
    Weather patterns that bring heavy mountain snow all but seem to have dried up since the beginning of February.
    During that time snowpack fell from well over 100% in late January to 99 percent of the median by March 1.

    AURORA (CBS4) – Tuesday morning traffic in Aurora was slowed due to police activity on Chambers Road just north of East 6th Avenue.

    LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Police are investigating the death of a 3-month-old baby girl in Lakewood.
    Officers initially responded on Thursday to a 911 call for a child having difficulty breathing.
