    Wildfire Contained In Eastern Pueblo County
    PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — A fire that burned about 300 acres of brush in eastern Pueblo County has been contained.
    Authorities said Friday no one was injured and no structures were damaged or threatened by the wildfire that started Wednesday morning in a field.
    Investigators blamed the fire on a power line that was downed by strong winds in the area. Dry conditions and strong wind gusts allowed the fire to quickly spread to the Huerfano River bed area.

    DENVER (AP) — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says it plans to return to the Gold King Mine in southwestern Colorado this spring or early summer to resume preliminary cleanup work after it inadvertently triggered a 3-million-gallon spill of wastewater there in August.
    Longer-term remediation at the site north of Silverton could be months or years away, even though local officials and Gov. John Hickenlooper have signed off on a Superfund cleanup.

    TOWSON, Md. (CBS4) – CBS4 has confirmed a self-proclaimed psychic wanted for crimes in Colorado has been arrested in Baltimore County, Md.
    Adam Michael Marks conned a Larimer County woman out of $75,000 in 2012. In a 2014 plea deal, Marks, 33, agreed to repay the victim to avoid six years in jail for stealing from an at-risk adult and other charges. But Marks didn’t show up for his sentencing and there has been an active warrant for his arrest for the past 17 months.
