  Ramon Medrano-Corral, 54, faces eight felony charges including four counts of vehicular assault for a wreck on Christmas.

  BAILEY, Colo. (AP/CBS4) — A memorial service for the sheriff’s deputy shot and killed while trying to evict a main from his home near Bailey will be held next month in Arvada.
  Thirty-five-year-old Cpl. Nate Carrigan will be honored at Faith Bible Chapel during a service starting at 11 a.m. on March 14.

• Colorado Driver’s Licenses Get A New Look

  DENVER (CBS4) – Colorado’s Division of Motor Vehicles has created a new design for driver’s licenses.

  DENVER (AP) — More than two dozen elected officials from western Colorado cities and counties have endorsed a federal crackdown on oil companies that burn off natural gas on public land.

  BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – The second phase of the paved bikeway between Denver and Boulder will open Tuesday, March 1, completing the connection.
