  DENVER (AP) — Another northwestern Colorado coal mine is set to get a new environmental review after environmentalists challenged its permit.
  A proposed deal between the Trapper mine, environmentalists and regulators filed in federal court Thursday calls for a review to be performed by April 30. The mine would be able to continue to operate on land where mining is already underway and provide monthly status updates starting next month.

  BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Breckenridge have released a picture of the burned suspect vehicle allegedly driven by the suspect arrested in a deadly hit-and-run last month.
  Cristina Martinez Hernandez was found dead on the side of the road in the 600 block of Airport Road just before 11 p.m. on Aug. 31. Hernandez 26, was pronounced dead at the scene despite attempts by the Red, White & Blue Fire Department to revive her. Police believe the driver struck her and drove away.

  LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)– The man who was arrested after he was accused of chasing children near an elementary school in Longmont has been released on bond. The judge ordered Dayle Dexter to stay away from some schools.Decker was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with three counts each of harassment and child abuse.   TRINIDAD, Colo. (AP) — Colorado authorities say they removed more than 11,700 marijuana plants that were part of an illegal growing operation in the San Isabel National Forest.
  The U.S. Forest Service said Thursday that hunters discovered the grow site about 40 northwest of Trinidad in southern Colorado. Authorities also removed an irrigation pipe, pesticides, flammable liquids, and camping gear near the site.

• Fort Carson Crews Will Cut Black Hawk Into Pieces To Lift Out Of Crash Site
