    Hot and muggy weather sticks around for at least half the week
    Back to work we go after a phenomenal Labor Day.
    We’ll see the humidity rise to match the hot temperatures already in place. With a southwesterly wind flow, expect the dew points to climb into the upper 60s to near 70 on Tuesday.     (Stratford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A plane skidded off a runway this afternoon upon take off at Sikorsky Memorial Airport in Stratford.
    A spokesman for the city of Bridgeport which owns the airport says the aircraft spun out into the grass.
    The pilot was the only one on board and was not injured.
    The airport was closed for a brief time in order to get the plane off the runway.
    There’s no word yet on what caused the mishap.

    An 11-month-old boy died in Georgia over the weekend when his grandparents forgot him in the car for two hours, police said.
