• Man strikes person in head with flashlight more than ten times

    ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB)- Orchard Park Police arrested a man Saturday who struck someone in the head with a flashlight more than ten times.
    Police say they responded to Twin Oak motel on Southwestern Boulevard just after 11:30 p.m. and took 52-year-old Mark Evans into custody.
    Investigation showed the victim had lacerations to the head and an arm injury as a result of the flashlight. Police also revealed Evans has a warrant for a domestic assault from 2011 in the state of Maine.

  • WATCH: Lancaster Police looking for subject who broke into car

    LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB)- Lancaster Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest in car larcenies.
    News 4 obtained footage from an incident on February 20th just before 12:30 a.m. where the subject is seen breaking into a car on Central Avenue in the village of Lancaster.
    Anyone with information regarding the individual is asked to contact investigators at (716) 683-3120 ext. 125.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo Police report a 29-year-old Buffalo man was shot overnight walking to his car.
    The incident happened just after 2 a.m. in the 700 block of Bailey Avenue, according to officials.
    He was initially listed in serious condition when taken to ECMC. Police have no further update at this time.
