  A wrong address led an Alaskan to a chance meeting earlier this week.
  Jolene Jackinsky says she ran into former President Barack Obama on Monday.
  She says she went into the office of Signature Air at Ted Stevens, thinking it was still Iliamna Air. Jolene had no idea know who would be downstairs in the waiting area.
  She walked in talking to her baby and President Obama looked up and asked, “who is this pretty girl,” and asked to hold her.

  Scruggs the missing Iditarod dog has been found.
  Barbara Swenson adopted the retired sled dog from Aliy Zikle at the end of June. She had Scruggs in Anchorage just one day before the dog got spooked by a lawnmower and took off in the Campbell Airstrip area on June 25.
  Swenson posted flyers on nearby tras and checked Animal Care and Control every day. Zirkle even came down twice to help look for Scruggs.

• Fish & Game: Black bear appeared predatory in fatal Pogo Mine attack

  Experts with the state Department of Fish and Game say the black bear that attacked two workers last month near the Pogo Mine was hungry and showing predator-like behavior.
  “It was a healthy adult male that hadn’t eaten in some time,” Doreen Parker McNeill said. She’s a Fairbanks Fish and Game coordinator. “It was not defending a kill. And the nature of the attack appears to have been predatory.”

  Two rescued black bear cubs are at the Alaska Zoo, but you’ll have to hurry if you want to meet them.
  Both cubs, a male and female, are going to be new residents at the San Francisco Zoo– and they could leave Alaska as early as this weekend.
  “It’s just a matter of working out logistics with the San Francisco Zoo– when they are available to receive them, and then setting up transportation,” Patrick Lampi, the executive director of the Alaska Zoo, said.

• 4 men plead guilty to 2016 crime spree

  Four Anchorage men charged with multiple vehicle thefts and burglaries in 2016 entered guilty pleas this week.
  Fale Moevao, Faamolemole Uiese, Usugafono Palauni and David Fatialofa changed their pleas in court Friday.
  In March 2016, they stole four cars over 11 days and used them to rob multiple businesses in Anchorage and Eagle River.
  All four were sentenced to three years in prison. Fatialofa also faces seven years for attempted murder.

  SEATTLE — A Delta Airlines flight bound for Beijing returned to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Thursday evening after a passenger assaulted a flight attendant, officials said.
